About the Application Process:
If you click on the link above or at the bottom of this page you will open a 3 page PDF that includes some info about the application process, the application itself, and a Verification of Rental form.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME AN APPLICATION FOR AN APARTMENT THAT YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SEEN IN PERSON. If you have come to a showing or had someone come to a showing for you (if you are moving in from out of town), feel free to complete and submit an application.
The cost, per tenant, to apply for any apartment is $30.00. This needs to be paid at the time make application. You can pay with a check, cash, or with Paypal--but not by credit card. The $30 fee is to cover the cost of pulling your credit & verifying all of the info on your application.
Applications will be processed ONLY AFTER we receive your completed, signed application and the $30 application fee.
Everyone is run through the same basic process. No exceptions. The entire process may take two or three working days--sometimes longer if we can’t get cooperation from your landlord, employer, etc.
If you are aware of any weak or derogatory information in any of these areas it is usually best to disclose this up front. I have certainly rented to people in the past with minor credit problems, no rental history, or little or no job history--I was 18 once myself. Knowing about any issues in advance will save us both a lot of time and hassle. It is a person’s overall strength (or weakness) as a potential tenant that I am trying to assess—and that is comprised of a lot of different things. A higher security deposit or a co-signer can sometimes offset weak areas of your application.
